Our Team

Debbie Babb  //  Attorney

Hi, I’m Debbie Babb!

Family is everything.  As a third-generation lawyer, I serve all families – traditional, blended, single parents, and LGBTQ+ families – by creating comprehensive estate plans.  I excel at creating practical and easy to understand estate plans that protect and provide for your chosen family.  Additionally, my practice includes special needs planning, business planning and trust and probate administration.

I serve each family with empathy, and I collaborate with you to achieve your life, legacy, business, and family goals.  I assist my clients with customizing plans that permit them to actualize their desired impact on future generations.  I’m proud of the value I provide for my clients.  I have the team, systems, and processes to keep my clients’ kids protected and their families out of conflict and out of court. It is an honor to be a pillar of support for you and your loved ones, especially in the event of a family death or incapacitation.

At an early age I knew I wanted to be a lawyer and continue my family’s legal legacy.  I earned my undergraduate degree at Smith College and my law degree from the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California. After law school I worked as an associate at law firms in Los Angeles and San Francisco and then as a partner at Allen Matkins.  I am a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and WealthCounsel, a national organization of Trusts and Estates attorneys.

After beginning my career as a commercial real estate attorney, I transitioned to estate planning.  I discovered that I love working with individuals and families.  My unique personal and legal background places me in an ideal position to serve multi-generation business owners and their families.

I enjoy staying active in the Los Angeles community, including serving in leadership positions at Leo Baeck Temple.  I love long hikes with my friends and retreating to nature to ground myself.  Most importantly, my family is my everything. I am the proud mom of amazing young adults, Tommy and Katie, and my sweet teenager, Nate.
