Debbie Babb was a speaker for a Westside Pacific Villages event we put together to educate the community about the different ways we should all be planning for the future - legally, financially, when it comes to Medicare, and how to maximize and protect our real estate investments. Debbie spoke about the importance of estate planning, how it's not a "one and done" exercise, and how she, in her practice, spends time with each of her clients to understand their unique situation and creates a plan based on that. She is not using the same exact template for every client she meets with. Her decades of experience and expertise really shone through during her presentation. Her real estate agent recommendations, and then their expertise to stage the property, final sale, and property clean up took the pressure off of me. We were referred to Debbie by a friend and called her asking for help in setting up a family trust.  It took several months (because of our indecisiveness and Debbie's thorough and meticulous approach) but we finally executed the trust (and all the associated forms and documents).

Working with Debbie was a great experience, both because she is technically extremely competent and also very pleasant and adaptable.  When we had (or caused) delays in the process, she understood and stepped back.  But when we were ready to move forward, she engaged and asked us all the right, penetrating questions about what we want to do with our assets.  It forced us to really think about our intentions, and to take action.

And, after we signed the documents, Debbie made sure that we actually took the necessary steps to transfer assets into the trust!  Otherwise there was no point in going through the exercise.

Our circumstances and family, and financial preferences, will no doubt go through changes, and we have already asked Debbie to keep working with us as these changes take place.  We want to have a relationship with Debbie, not just a transaction.

Debbie deservedly has 5 star reviews because she takes care of her clients in the most compassionate and complete manner.  I just completed a new Trust, Will and misc documents with her. I had many considerations that required advanced thought to resolve and Debbie was up to the task.  She was able to construct the Trust to my satisfaction with great patience and foresight.
